Little Girl, Big Chair

Jane loves to sit at the table for meals and thinks she should be eating everything that everyone else is eating. So, when she is sitting on mommy or daddy's knee at a meal she lunges for plates, bowls, silverware, cups. She's a lot faster than you would think a little baby would be, and bowls of cereal are upset and plates end up on the floor! She doesn't like playing on the ground next to the table with her toys during mealtime....she likes to be part of the action, so we brought out the highchair and so far it has worked well. She's high enough up that she feels apart of everything, but removed enough that we don't have to guard everything within her little arms length! She seems to like to have her own plastic bowl, cup, and spoon to play with in her highchair and before too much longer will be eating up there with the rest of us!
