The children and I took a trip to Canada recently and had a great time. We met my parents and drove to Palmyra, New York where we saw some Church History sites and the Hill Cumorah Pagent. Ethan particularly enjoyed it and remarked a few times, "I can't believe I'm really here!" We drove up to Canada then and stopped at Niagara Falls. It was the first time the kiddies had been. We went behind the falls--that's when we're wearing our yellow rain ponchos! We also spent a great day at Wasaga Beach. The waves were great that day. We went to African Lion Safari and Jane has been talking about rhinos ever since. You take a bus tour (or your own car if you don't mind it being picked apart by monkeys) through 6 different wildlife sanctuaries, so you're actually driving right past the animals! It was really good. Then we saw a great (but sad) elephant show and spent a good part of the afternoon at the water park. Another great day. We visited a great playground close to Grandma's house. And I really enjoyed eating Canadian KitKats. When we got home it was time to pack, pack, pack for our move--so the children would "picnic" at their little red table w/ their plastic plates and forks, since everything else was packed. The goggles are a nice touch, yes?
That trip sounds like it was amazing!! I have always wanted to go to Niagra Falls and I didn't know there was all that other stuff to do too. So, what is the difference with Canadian Kit Kats?? Real sugar? I really want to know!
Move??? Where are you going? I cannot believe how old your kids are. I am even amazed at how thick Claire's braid is. What a fun trip. My brother lives right next to Palmyra. His wife does ASL interpretation for the pageant. Did you see her? She was about 8 months preggo. Call me soon.
Love the one with the goggles...glad you got to visit your parents and see the Pagent and Falls and all the fun things you guys did! So...what's with the Canadian KitKats? Are they like Canadian Sunkist...no caffine?! Just kidding...but really what is the difference...better chocolate?
Oh. My. Heavens. They are so BIG! Love the photos, so glad you got to take a trip to Canada! I can't believe how the kids have grown and how long Claire's hair is! Miss you kids.

I forgot to comment on Claire's hair...how did it get so long?! Has it really been that long since I've seen you guys?

Sounds like a great trip! Nice for the kiddies to get some time in the "Mother Land." Good to see your parents in that picture - they look great!
Where are you moving to?

During high school I used to imagine that my name was Anne of Green Gables and was from Canada (yep, I was a nerd) :)
